Tabetheus
Roman Egyptian woman and papyrus letter writer|Alexandria or the Karanis network, Egypt
Tabetheus was a Roman Egyptian woman whose Greek letters to her brother Claudius Tiberianus survive as P.Mich. VIII 473 and, probably, P.Mich. VIII 474. Her letters show family correspondence in the Tiberianus archive: linen, money, rations, children, illness, travel to Alexandria, and the urgent wish that Tiberianus visit after a long absence.
