Neidos

scholasticus|Pelusium
Otherwise little attested; Neidos is known chiefly as a recipient of five letters from Isidore of Pelusium, the early-fifth-century ascetic and biblical commentator whose vast correspondence (some 2,000 short letters) survives in the Patrologia Graeca. He is addressed as a scholasticus, the late-antique term for a trained advocate or man of legal/rhetorical education, and so was probably a lay professional active in or near Pelusium in the eastern Nile Delta during the first half of the fifth century. Nothing further about his life, career, or dates can be established with confidence beyond what Isidore's letters imply.
