bishop of Trecala/Triocala and visitor of the church of Agrigentum|Trecala/Triocala, Sicily
Peter was bishop of Trecala, usually identified with ancient Triocala in Sicily, and a correspondent of Pope Gregory the Great. In Gregory, Register V.12, he is charged with visiting the church of Agrigentum and is assigned the bishop's quarter of that church's income while he carries the responsibility.
