Letter 388

LibaniusΦιλίππῳ|libanius

To Philippus. (355)

I was pleased both that you wrote to us and that you arranged such matters through me — for this was the act of a man who trusts he is loved and who has resolved to love in return.

I read your letter to him, and I could see he was delighted and eager to write back. But some commotion broke in and forced him to attend to it, preventing the reply. It will come to you once that has passed.
