Letter 12039
Gregory the Great (Wisigothic)→Unknown|gregory great
From: Pope Gregory I
To: Fantinus, Defender
Date: ~602 AD
Context: Gregory orders Fantinus to give ten horses from the deacon Servideus's estate to the monastery, and four to the handmaid of God Luminosa
From the estate of the late deacon Servideus, you are to distribute the following: ten horses are to go to the monastery, and four horses are to go to Luminosa, the handmaid of God. These are the dispositions I have determined from the estate's assets, and they are to be carried out precisely as I have specified. Document the transfers properly and confirm to me that they have been made.
