We are impelled by the duty of devotion to take provident thought and counsel for the monasteries, lest those who are known to have been appointed to the service of God should have to endure any hardship, which may the Lord avert. And therefore by this authority we instruct your Experience that, all excuse set aside, you make haste without any hesitation to hand over the garden once belonging to the presbyter Felicianus, situated in the first region, before the steps of Saint Sabina, to the monastery of Euprepia, in which a congregation of the handmaids of God is known to be, to be possessed by them by right of ownership, so that, by the benefit of our liberality and with His support as well, they may persevere in the service of God with untroubled minds.
