Having learned of the death of your bishop, we have delegated to our brother and fellow bishop Severus of Ficulum the responsibility of visiting the bereaved church. We have charged him to ensure that no one usurps control over clergy appointments, revenues, sacred furnishings, or ministries. It is your duty to obey his diligent guidance.
