Good Ammonas, rejoice with great joy, because your exile and confinement are for Christ's sake. See, I am writing to you yet again; and if it has been later than expected, the brethren will report the reason. Only know that I always behold you in spirit and pray that you may be kept safe; do this also yourself on behalf of me, the sinner. Are you alone, then, or with the brother? I would have him be with you, since he is even as you are, my child. I learn that you are conducting yourself and bearing up well, and I rejoice. And in just this way continue to be, all the more, a good example to your brethren; for our work must shine before all, as befits witnesses of Christ, to the glory of God. May strength be yours from the Lord, mercy, peace, blessing, eternal salvation. Greet the brother on my behalf. He who is with me sends you his greeting. The Lord be with you.
